The twin population centers of Los Cabos–cape sisters Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo–are
separated by 20-miles of coastline known locally as the “tourist corridor.”
This corridor has traditionally lacked the alluring desirability of the two cities themselves, but in fact it has much to recommend it, and its signature resorts and residential communities include some of the most striking properties found anywhere in the world.
Life is quieter and more peaceful in the corridor, without the hustle and bustle of city life. Ocean views offer a picturesque backdrop, and driving is more convenient, since each of the cape cities is only a few minutes away by car.
Many of the region’s best beaches are found in the corridor, including acclaimed Blue Flag playas like Palmilla, Chileno and Santa Maria. So too are many of the best golf courses. Querencia and Cabo del Sol’s Ocean Course, for example–both of which are currently ranked among the 100 best golf courses in the word–are corridor based.
But the biggest reason to consider the corridor is the sheer diversity of luxurious homes and villas, many with jaw-dropping views of Land’s End and its evocatively shaped Arch.
